Such a disappointing customer service they have. I ordered a duvet set then realised it was the wrong size. Sent them a message and customer service replied and told me they did not have the size I wanted in that colour, asksd for advice. I was at work and could not write back, the next thing I saw was that the wrong size item has been disaptached. I wrote back to customer service and told her what I would like to replace it but I did not understand why it says the item was dispatched. She told me to get it exchanged at the store.
I would have gone to the store at the first place if I had time. I am extremely disappointed with the response and it could have been done easily if she put my order on hold whilst waiting for my reply as I clearly stated that it was not the right size I wanted and yet she did not do anything about it and told me to get an exchange in store?
I love Farmers Dunedin the staff are great the only thing is they had started playing loud music in store which makes you want to run out of there to get away from the noise. I don't know how the poor staff can work in that all day

Today I had such a terrible experience at the lynn mall Farmers store for the first time especially at Farmers.
I went to buy a product at make up dept., and really wanted to test it prior to purchase. One of the assistants advised me to go at clarins or eliza beth arden as they can help you wear the product to test it if its a right match.. Sadly I went to clarins and the very abrupt and shrewd lady at the counter ‘ANITA’ gave me the terrible customer service ever. She told me ‘ I WILL TRY THE PRODUCT ONLY IF YOU WANT TO BUY IT’. ????????. It just blew me off as how she used a rough tone and said “ THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE RANGE ( as she made me feel i am incapacitated to buy it). I am so shocked to see this kind of snobbish behaviour towards the customer. Despite of being respectful and helpful she just made me feel low… I am surprised the kind of unhappy faces employed by FARMERS. Very sad though. I will never shop at this store specially ever.
Online service is awful. Making enquires day 5 when item hadn’t been shipped, customer service rep was passive aggressive and seemed to enjoy letting me know it will take five business days AFTER the day of ordering to get posted, even if I ordered it early morning. So this time around I ordered perfume from Smith and Caugheys - it has been posted within 24 hours and I’ll get it after one business day instead of seven. Farmers have lost my online business. I understood shipping might take up to five days but this shouldn’t be their idea of good enough.

Looking at the Knitwear this morning of the Whistle Brand. Suitable for tall woman but not 5 ft to 5.2 Perhaps Whistle shoulf relookat there knit wear We dont all want a sweater down to our knees
Ordered a fridge online and they said it would be delivered to Palmerston North no later than the 24th of Feb when ordered around 3 weeks earlier at a cost of $200 for delivery. I asked if they could put an urgent request as I needed the fridge ASAP. It got to the 24th and no sign of fridge, which I thought was strange as I had received an email to say it had arrived at Palmerston North depot 8 days earlier. When I phoned on the 24th they said it had just been sitting at the depot but said that they would deliver it after 6pm that night. Again the fridge never arrived. I then phoned the following morning and they said it would be delivered at 930am. I waited around the house till midday and still no fridge. Had to phone again and they said they were given wrong paperwork so delivered it to wrong address!!! I eventually got the fridge at 430pm and had to leave work early to be home. Bunch of amateurs, no apologies for stuffing me around and no explanation on why it was just sitting at the depot for 8 days!
I went in to purchase the ordinary today from Farmers Bayfair and I asked the Lancôme consultant if there were testers, she proceeded to look down her nose at me and say you can’t expect skincare that cheap to have testers she wasn’t interested in engaging at all. I then went to the Elizabeth Arden consultant to pay as the short dark haired Lancôme consultant was not going to lower herself to put my sale through, I asked the same question to this consultant and her reply was “no unfortunately we don’t I’m sorry I wish we did as we get asked a lot and would be good for us to know what the products feel like too” perfect customer service no snobby judgement and little did Miss Lancôme know is I’m a keen Lancôme user and I won’t be purchasing from her counter again to make her monthly target.
I visited Farmers at Botany recently and was in the beauty department purchasing a product. Normally I get very good service here especially from an assistant I believe her name is Jewel. I was appalled to witness another staff member I believe is called Nicky being extremely unhelpful to Jewel when she was trying to sort out another complicated transaction for a customer. Nicky was condescending and very unhelpful. This sort of bullying and attitude to our work colleagues has got to stop. There is NO excuse. I felt very sorry for Jewel who maintained a dignified composure throughout. It was embarrassing and angered me as a customer. I don’t need to see this when I’m shopping and expect to see and experience customer service for Farmers to be proud of. That day was not that day.
Went into Farmers Newmarket and was purchasing something at the Fragrance Counter by a young lady who mid-way decided to answer the phone. As I waited for her to help a new customer on the phone with the prices of Fragrances, she eventually came back and told me to go away to another Counter. Also, told me I can't use Phone number to find Farmers Card which the other Counter easily did for me, so she obviously just didn't know how.
I work in Customer Service and I find it so odd that they would rather leave the sale half-way to serve phone customers who aren't purchasing. Also, teach your staff how to find Farmers Club Card via Phone number. Very few people carries physical cards these days.

I purchased a washing machine and have had issues with the delivery. For some reason the system won’t accept the order, which whilst I can appreciate it is a technical error the support in getting it resolved has left me feeling very frustrated. Over the past few days I have rung the customer service support centre each morning to be told that someone will look into it and get back to me that day - then, nothing. Whilst it’s not the individuals fault that they cannot resolve it, the lack of communication and follow through is. There is a reason we shopped at a higher quality department store like Farmers and those were for range of products, but also good customer service and systems - so far, unfortunately, I would say the overall experience to be really disappointing.
Whangarei farmer’s staff members are recist and this is not happened once. They were treating me like a badly just because of I am an indian wow what a customer service. Specially make up and perfume staff.
